Time off for good behaviour

Hooray for half-term...lie-ins, pyjama mornings and not having to make packed lunches at the crack of dawn. No arguments about finding book bags, doing spellings, washing faces... no bad-tempered school runs. Bliss.

Back in a few days...

Thrice hooray! My son's 15, but the arguments still remain, finding pe kit, doing coursework, brushing hair. Enjoy your week!

Isn't brilliant being out of that dreary old routine?

My beasts have gone off skiing for the week so I'm having a lovely time catching up on blogs with endless mugs of tea before I start the tart-up process. 'Tis all most civilised.

Have a lovely week :0)

Hi Lucy, thanks for leaving me the comment telling me you'd enjoyed reading 'The Accidental Mother' It's really great to know. I'll be looking forward to your new book in August too! Our half term has just finished, spent this morning doing half term homework over breakfast. Shhhhhh.

Hi JJ - cheers! I am already feeling so relaxed and it's only Monday, yay!

Hi Maddie, thrice hooray indeed! (PS I was hoping that by 15 the PE kit arguments would dry up... am so gutted to find out they go on endlessly!)

Hi Lane, will do. Hope your new term has begun in a serene, stress-free way!

Hi Spiralskies - utterly brilliant. And oh, I am so sick with envy at you having the house to yourself! How fantastic is that???!

Oh Pacha, I sympathise, Mondays suck but even more so when cold and tired. Not TOO long to go until Easter though...

Hi Caroline, hope Poppy gets well soon.

Hi Rowan - I meant every word! It would be a brilliant film. Lol at the breakfast homework...hmm, sounds familiar!
