The drugs don't work

...The anti-histamines, that is. I still look very unattractive and freakish. Oh GAWD. SO many people have now asked if I am okay, if I have a cold, if there's something wrong, if I am ill. It's bringing me down all right, I can tell you.

Too sulky and ugly to write any more. Waahh.

Oh poor you. if it's any consolation husband came out in hives immediately after Christmas lunch. Head to foot rash and swollen eyes and lips. We think it must have been the chestnuts and he looked a blushing guppy fish. Anyway the consolation is that it went away very quickly, I think 3 days max. I hope it eases soon.((((hugs))))

Ohhhhh! I'm sorry to hear the face is taking its time to subside. I can imagine it being a downer with everyone asking if you're OK.

It'll go down soon and you're forget all about it (unless offered oyster sauce). Fortunately the wedding is months away... Don't worry honey, I'm sure tomorrow you'll be fine and if you're not pull faces at people and scare them away!

That would cheer me up anyway!

Ouch, sounds painful hun. At least the weather is for wearing scarves so pick out your brightest one and wear it with pride, just pop it up a little higher than usual! Take care x

Hi Lane, it's going down slowly but surely....gaahhh. Bloody oysters. Thanks for the hugs though, much appreciated. PS Your poor husband!! Blushing guppy fish is not a good Crimbo Day look.

Pacha, good thinking! I can be quite scary when I choose to be and with my new mutant looks, I'll be giving small children everywhere nightmares in no time!

Hello L-Plate Author - I like the way you are thinking. I will seek out a balaclava at once!

Awww, sorry to hear about your poor poor face. I enjoyed your Bridalwave column, hope that cheers you up! I particularly liked the idea of a honeymoon at Legoland!

Thanks Zinnia - that did cheer me up. Still not convinced by Legoland as my honeymoon destination...I was really hoping for something a bit more romantic...
