Authorial angst

Damn it. Have spent ages today working out plotlines for each of my three storylines for new novel. Storylines one and two develop over a few months. Storyline three seems to be all done and dusted within a matter of days.
Ahh. Why didn't I notice this before?
I hate that bloody drawing board...

Oh Lucy - you can do it! With a cover like that, I can tell your book will be super.

Sounds intricate. At least you can lay it all out on your still pristine carpet:-)

Oh DulwichMum you say the nicest things... Luckily the lovely-cover book is all sorted (just going through the copy-edit now) - it's the new work-in-progress that's proving tricksy. Grrrr!

Lane - perfect solution! I'm also creating a timeline file to keep on track of what day it is in each chapter, and what everyone's doing at various times. Have never done a multiple narrative - am starting to wonder if I'm clever enough to manage it now!

Keep going. Seems to me you're doing beautifully.

Thank you for the encouragement, Wayne! It's getting there...
